Big Dog
I’m rarely impressed and but right now I’m looking for words. If you think robots are still a far cry from being anything like the movie iRobot…you better come out of your cave. Check out the “Big Dog” from Boston Dynamics. At first you won’t believe it’s real…but just watch the video.
I haven’t seen it yet but I’m sure if you attached a GPS reciever to this ‘puppy’ and attached a GPS transmitter to your house, car or maybe even the neighborhood cat, this dog would not have a problem following. What or when they figure out how to attach a weapon to it…it will be a whole new battle my friends.
X-wing Fighter
Personally I’m gonna move in with George Lucas and hope he’s building a X-Wing Fighter in his basement. I’m gonna have to re-visit the new Star Wars movies…looks like ‘this dog will hunt’ if you know what I mean.
